Nowadays in Russian cities and towns you can hardly ever see people playing the balalaika, drinking tea from samovars or children playing with matryoshkas. These are just myths for tourists who visit our country. When we go abroad we are sometimes shocked by the way Russian people are presented there. A typical Russian for most foreigners is always a drunkard with a bottle of vodka in his hands and a fur hat on his head. It is really offensive. That’s why we decided to debunk the most famous stereotypes about our country.
